ZAMTEL PARK
The facelift of Zamtel Park demonstrates a balance between legacy and modernism. By retaining the original structural integrity while introducing sleek, high-performance glazing and a bold charcoal-and-grey palette, the design respects the building’s heritage as a telecommunications hub. The addition of textural stone accents and clean horizontal lines breathes new life into the aging shell, transforming a functional asset into a contemporary architectural landmark.

THE ELEVATED COMMONS - MIXED USE DEVELOMPENT
The core concept revolves around fragmentation and elevation. Rather than building one monolithic tower, the design breaks the mass into three distinct, angular "pods."
-
The Podium: The design utilizes a "living plinth"—a raised landscaped deck that lifts the green space above the noise and dust of the street. This creates a private sanctuary for tenants while maintaining a permeable, active retail frontage at the ground level.
-
The Pods: The three upper volumes are clad in earthy, terracotta-toned panels with deep-set windows and horizontal louvers (brise-soleil). The slight outward tilt of the facades isn't just aesthetic; it provides self-shading for the glass, reducing solar heat gain in a tropical climate.
-
Sustainability: The visible rooftop solar arrays and the integrated greenery suggest a "Grade A" green building philosophy, aiming for energy independence and natural cooling.

LUANGWA MALL & EVENTS CENTRE
For this events center, the architectural objective was to design a dynamic social forum that celebrates the intersection of industrial materiality and organic form. The process was driven by the need for a versatile indoor-outdoor transition, allowing the building to breathe and adapt to various event scales. By contrasting the heavy, grounded nature of brick and steel with the ethereal lightness of a tensile canopy, the design establishes a dialogue between permanence and fluidity

RIVERSIDE VILLA
For this high-end residential project, the architectural narrative focuses on "luxury through landscape integration." The design process was driven by the spectacular riverside context, aiming to create a residence that doesn't just overlook the beach but feels like a natural extension of it. By utilizing a deconstructed floor plan with multiple pavilions, the design maximizes private outdoor enclaves and ensures every primary living space maintains a direct visual and physical connection to the water.

CHILANGA HILLSIDE HOME
For this luxury hillside residence, the architectural design was a masterclass in topographical negotiation. Our process focused on how to anchor a modern, geometric structure into a steep incline without overwhelming the landscape. Rather than a singular mass, we deconstructed the home into a series of terraced volumes that follow the natural contour of the hill, ensuring that the architecture feels "of the land" rather than simply sitting on top of it.

LUANGWA MALL
Our design philosophy for this commercial node centered on creating a high-performance urban oasis that bridges the gap between commercial utility and human-centric public space. The process began with the challenge of the site’s dual identity: a transit-heavy service station adjacent to a retail plaza. To mitigate the heat island effect and provide a sense of place, we implemented a tiered shading strategy utilizing both the organic canopy of existing trees and a series of architectural tensile structures. The fabric cones provide a lightweight, sculptural rhythm that offers expansive weather protection without the visual weight of a traditional roof, allowing the façade of the main building to remain transparent and inviting.

AFRICA UNITY CENTRE
For this campus project, the architectural intent was to move away from the traditional "monolithic institution" and instead create a porous learning ecosystem. The design process focused on biophilic principles, ensuring that students and faculty feel a constant connection to nature, which is statistically proven to enhance cognitive function and well-being. By utilizing a modular, pavilion-style layout, the center breaks down its large program into human-scaled volumes that frame a central active spine.
THE ELEVATED COMMONS
We utilized strategic setbacks between the commercial ground floor and the office floors, between the street and the retail block, and between the three office blocks. These architectural gaps created expansive rooftop terraces and open-air plazas at the ground level, where the retail and access points are located.
By shifting and stacking these volumes rather than aligning them, the design captures square footage that would otherwise be lost, creating terraces that act as social hubs for office workers and guests.

GATED COMMUNITY
Our design for this new gated community brings a resort-first mentality to residential living.
The Hub: A double-story communal clubhouse with a gym and restaurant.
The Aesthetic: Clean gabled lines and premium finishes.
The Experience: Sunlight-drenched interiors and a private pool deck.
